What type of photos work best?

You may be surprised at what we can do with photos of all different sizes and qualities. For best results though, we recommend using photos with file sizes in excess of 700kb. Close up photos are an excellent choice for most canvas portrait especially  if you are not certain about the image quality. If you are unsure whether your photo will be suitable,  Snappy Canvas customer service representatives will be happy to help review your images! Shipping, Delivery and Holiday Deadlines

Canvases are generally shipped out via USPS Priority within 7-10 business days or sooner (in cases where no e-proof option was chosen).  If you selected the E-proof option your proof will be e-mailed to you in approximately 3-5 business days. Once your proof is approved, your canvas will be shipped in approximately 7-10 business days or less.  If you request a revision to your e-proof, please allow an additional 3-5 business days to complete the revision.

 If you would like to receive your canvas by a particular date please note this with your order comments and consult with our customer service, so we can prioritize your shipment. Shipping times are not guaranteed and can vary in times of high volume. Large Canvas sizes (Over 30x40) may require additional time to assure quality and careful packaging.

Which file types do you accept?

The JPEG format is the most popular but we can also accept GIF, PNG or PDF

Will I be able to see an e-proof of the canvas?

Yes! If you choose the E-Proof option. You will receive an email with a digital picture proof for your canvas print. You can approve it for completion or request revisions if needed.  Remember to check your spam folder.

What is an E-proof?

An E-proof is a digital image proof that is emailed for you to preview your canvas photo portrait or painting. By choosing this option you will have the opportunity to approve, request  modification, or cancel your order for a full refund minus the cost of the E-proof.  Proofs are typically sent within 5-7 business days and any revisions requested  to your proof will take up to an additional 3-5 days.  

Can I send photos that have already been developed?

Yes photo prints can produce beautiful canvases. In fact we can even restore your old photos if you choose the Touch Up option. Simply mail your prints to the address below.

How many megapixels should my camera have?

Generally the higher the better, since they works especially well for larger sized canvas prints. However Snappy Canvas uses sophisticated technologies and techniques to maximize output even for smaller images. Even cell phone images and facebook photos can be used to produce beautiful canvases. Some styles will work better for low resolution images ex. Oil, or Painterly.   If you are uncertain whether your image will be suitable our customer support specialists can help

How can I decide which photo to use?

If you are having trouble deciding which photo to use Snappy Canvas is ready to help you pick photos that will look great on canvas. Many times our customers find that close ups and head shots work well with many of our styles.

Can I display my canvas in direct sunlight?

Yes! Your canvas will be produced with archival inks and high end canvas material. In addition we specially coat your canvas to provide maximum durability, UV and Water Resistance.

Can my canvas withstand being outdoors?

Yes, your canvas is made using the finest quality materials and inks. The canvas itself is also coated to provide UV protection and water resistance.

May I ask for a special request?

Snappy Canvas will do our best accommodate reasonable requests. Simply submit your request in the text box when placing your order.

What is a gallery wrap?

A gallery wrap refers to when the image itself wraps around the sides of the canvas. This adds extra dimension to your canvas and is an elegant choice for displaying your canvas prints.

Can you replace the background or remove people or other objects from my photo?

Your wish is our command. If you have chosen the Touch Up option you can request us to alter the image to your needs.

What is your return policy?

If you are not 100% satisfied you may return your canvas to us within 15 days. We will issue a complete refund or we will have our staff create a new canvas for you. Your satisfaction is our number one priority.

Will I get back photos which have been mailed?

We will take care to send them back promptly and carefully packaged, along with your canvas order.

However,  we cannot be held responsible for photos which have been lost or damaged in mail due to postal service negligence.
